Reform School with The Guardian’s Martin Rowson
£13.50
Tuesday 24 November
7 – 9pm
Upstairs at The Brookmill pub
Renowned satirist and cartoonist Martin Rowson hosts an evening of satirical scrawlings and historical horrors. Reform School will track the rise – and hopefully the downfall – of Nigel Farage through cartoons, along with brief explorations of Brexit and its legacy. Swearing and foul imagery mean this show is thoroughly unsuitable for actual schoolchildren.

Tuesday 24 November
7 – 9pm
Upstairs at The Brookmill pub
Renowned satirist and cartoonist Martin Rowson is once again hosting an evening of satirical scrawlings and historical horrors on Brockley Max’s behalf. Reform School will take place on Tuesday 24 November at The Brookmill pub and will track the rise – and hopefully the downfall – of Nigel Farage through cartoons, along with brief explorations of Brexit and its legacy.
Martin’s Brockley Max fundraiser promises to explore “the foul allure of Fascist Noncery and How To Get Ahead As A Nazi In National Newspapers And Still Get On TV”. The show will be fully illustrated throughout with “the usual array of mofels, puppets, jokes, rants and action painting involving food.” Reform School will contain swearing and foul imagery, so is probably not suitable for under 16s, the faint hearted or the far right.
Tickets are just £13.50 plus tiny booking fee, with proceeds going to Brockley Max so we can get our 2027 festival plans under way.
